Economics - tailwinds - headwinds.
In economics, tailwinds are favourable conditions in the general economy, or in a specific market sector.
In this context, a tailwind is the opposite of a headwind.
A crosswind is a condition that may have favourable or adverse effects, in a less predictable way.
The terms derive from shipping and air travel.
