Credit risk evaluation - banking

(EAD).

Exposure At Default is an amount expected to be outstanding following a default by a counterparty, taking account of:

  • Any credit risk mitigation;
  • Drawn balances; and
  • Any undrawn amounts of commitments and contingent exposures.
