The Investment Firms Regulation establishes the prudential regulation regime for MiFID registered investment firms in the EU with effect from 26 June 2021.
The purpose of the REGO certificate is to prove to customers that energy - or a given share of energy - has been produced from renewable sources.
 
The REGO scheme for the United Kingdom is administered by Ofgem.
