A graphical representation of different levels of consumption of two goods which provide the consumer with the same utility.
 
GWP is a relative measure of the amount by which a greenhouse gas emission would warm the earth.
 
The reference is carbon dioxide, CO<sub>2</sub>.
 
By definition, the GWP of carbon dioxide is 1.
 
 
Using this measure, the GWPs of other greenhouse gases are quantified on this scale.
