A review undertaken in the UK by Sir Richard Lambert, which lead to the creation of an independent body (Banking Standards Review Council) to promote high standards of competence and behaviour across the UK banking industry.
An international reserve asset created in the 1969 by the International Monetary Fund to supplement its member countries' official reserve.


The Banking Standards Review Council was replaced by the Banking Standards Board in 2015.
