''Borrowing and lending - documentation.''
An organisation of developing states within the United Nations, established in 1964 with 77 original members.

Finance parties in borrowing and lending include lenders, arrangers and agents, including facility agents and security agents.
Although membership of the G-77 subsequently increased substantially, the original name was retained because of its historical significance.

There may be other finance parties in addition to these.

The G-77's aims include providing the means for the countries of the South to articulate and promote their collective economic interests and enhance their joint negotiating capacity on major international economic issues within the United Nations system, and promoting South-South cooperation for development.

Identifying finance parties is important in the context of potential ''finance party default''.

Also known as the Group of 77 or G77.
