Sustainability - capital - natural capital - Capitals Coalition.

The Capitals Coalition identifies four important types of capital:

  • Natural capital
  • Social capital
  • Human capital
  • Produced capital

In this classification, Produced capital includes the human-made goods and financial assets that are used to produce goods and services consumed by society.

These goods and assets are sometimes also known - separately - as Manufactured capital and Financial capital.
