Central bank digital currency (CBDC) - Bahamas.

The Bahamanian Sand Dollar was the first central bank digital currency to be issued, in October 2020.

It is issued by the Central Bank of the Bahamas.

Each Sand Dollar is worth one Bahamian dollar (BSD).
