The term 'Basel IV' is used by some commentators to refer to discussions and proposals for changes to follow Basel III.
Formerly, one of the two professional actuarial bodies in the UK, based in Edinburgh - the other body being the Institute of Actuaries.


Basel IV, where the concept is used, is sometimes written ''Basel 4''.
Now merged with the Institute of Actuaries to form the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
