Nationally Recognised Statistical Rating Agency
An amount stated after the deduction of tax or of other related offsetting items.


A [[credit rating agency]] (CRA) in respect of the opinions of which the US [[Securities and Exchange Commission]] has issued a [http://www.sec.gov/answers/noaction.htm no-action letter] relating to use of those opinions by regulated bodies for various regulatory purposes.


The US was a pioneer of recognising particular CRAs.
