Information technology - cloud computing.

Hybrid cloud is a model of cloud computing designed to combine the flexibility of cloud services with the security of retaining sensitive data on-site.

For example, a business and its treasury adopting a hybrid cloud model might retain a traditional on site ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, while using selected cloud applications.
