1. Credit.

An arrangement between a lender and a borrower, under which an advance of money may be made, or any other arrangement under which credit may be made available.

Also known as a facility.


2. Securities.

A large amount of a given security.

Also known as a block.


3. Financial reporting.

An item in a financial statement, such as revenue, or net profit.

Sometimes known as a line item.


4. Graphs.

Any straight plot or trend between two points.

For example, the Capital Market Line.


5. Risk management.

Governance and other risk management structures in risk management.


6. Human resources and organisational management.

Abbreviation for reporting line, from a report to a line manager.


7. Organisational management and marketing.

A department or function within an organisation, or a group of related products or services.
