The Reserve Bank of Australia is Australia's central bank.

Its overarching mission is to contribute to:

  • Stability of Australia's currency.
  • Maintenance of full employment in Australia.
  • The economic prosperity and welfare of the people of Australia.


It is headquartered in Sydney.
