The conversion of laundered money into assets which have the appearance of having been legitimately acquired.
Single-loop learning is a process of learning that seeks to fix a particular problem without considering:
* the system as a whole or
* why the problem may have occurred or
* whether the goal is correct.  


This is a common third stage of money laundering, following 'placement' and 'layering'.


Single-loop learning deals with problems as they arise, making the necessary adjustments, and then assessing the outcome.
