Revision as of 17:28, 20 March 2019

UK - European Union - Brexit.

The single day on which, under the UK government's proposals, the legal changes for the UK to leave the EU were originally scheduled to take effect.

Following the triggering of Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty in March 2017 and subsequent two years of negotiations, the originally planned Brexit Day was to be Friday 29 March 2019 (at 11pm UK time).

On 14 March 2019 the UK parliament voted to seek an extension to this timing.
