Public sector - third sector - UK government - procurement.

(CCS).

The UK's Crown Commercial Service is established to:

  • Manage the procurement of common goods and services, to support public sector organisations with similar needs to achieve value by buying as a single customer.
  • Increasing savings by centralising buying requirements for common goods and services and bringing together smaller projects.
  • Lead on procurement policy on behalf of the UK government.

The CCS is an executive agency sponsored by the UK's Cabinet Office.

The CCS is a UK government trading fund.
