The former Audit and Assurance Council considered and advised the Board of the UK's Financial Reporting Council (FRC) on audit and assurance matters.
 
The FRC now carries out this work through its Regulatory Standards & Codes Committee and its Supervision Committee.


The duties of the former Auditing Practices Board are now undertaken by the Audit and Assurance Council.

Financial reporting - UK

The former Audit and Assurance Council considered and advised the Board of the UK's Financial Reporting Council (FRC) on audit and assurance matters.
