Continuing professional development (CPD).
In the context of continuing professional development (CPD) requirements, a professional development unit (PDU) is a measurement of CPD activity that counts toward achieving the total CPD requirement.
A common example of a single professional development unit would be an hour of CPD activity.
Attending a longer eligible training course of training would be likely to be assigned multiple PDUs, depending on the length of the relevant course.
