SWIFT.

MX is a message format in SWIFT.

MX messages are messages on the SWIFT network that are formatted in XML.

Most MX messages are approved under ISO 20022.

ISO 20022 is being phased in over the period ending November 2025, replacing earlier superseded message types such as MT.
