SWIFT.
An MT 942 (or MT942) is a standard structured SWIFT message.
It is an intraday bank statement file which details all entries booked to bank account.
MT942 - and all other MT messages - are in the course of being phased out over the period ending November 2025, and being replaced by improved message formats under ISO 20022.
