1. Agents - intermediaries - professional services.

Amounts payable for professional services, especially when relating to intermediating or facilitating a transaction, and often charged as a percentage of the size of the transaction.

For example, introductory commission.


2. Regulation - supervision.

A permanent body empowered to exercise legal, regulatory or supervisory authority.

For example the US Securities and Exchange Commission.


3. Expert recommendations.

A temporary body of experts that investigates and makes formal recommendations on its area of expertise.

For example, the UK's Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards.
