Clearstream is one of the leading clearing systems and depositories for euromarket securities as well as being a major international central securities depository (ICSD) and the central securities depository for the German and Luxembourg markets.
Clearstream is owned by the Deutsche Börse Group.
Alternative systems include Euroclear.
