Unstructured CPD

Continuing professional development (CPD) - professional development units (PDUs).

Unstructured continuing professional development (CPD) means less formal - or more self-directed - CPD activities, for example reading relevant professional journals and other professional literature.

Historically, many organisations' CPD requirements have given greater weight to structured activities, or set minimum level of structured CPD activities, compared with unstructured CPD.
