Opex

Operating Expenditure.

Opex is expenditure on items which are consumed - or whose benefits are otherwise enjoyed - in the short term, generally within the current financial reporting period.

Opex is contrasted with capital expenditure ('capex').

Also sometimes written as "OPEX".
