(BEC).

A business email compromise attack is a type of cybercrime in which criminals target organisations' email systems.

By spoofing a corporate email account, BEC fraudsters can get access to critical data and perform various kinds of further attack.

These attacks are also known as 'man-in-the-email' attacks.
