EC Directive 2007/64/EC

Directive on Payment Services, (PSD), which set out the legal foundation for the creation of an EU-wide single market for payments.

EC Directive 2007/64/EC replaced Directive 97/5 EC.

In turn, this Directive has been repealed by PSD2 (EC Directive 2015/2366).
