1. Supply chain finance

An organisation, usually a large buyer, which facilitates a buyer-led supply chain finance programme for its suppliers. The anchor party's strong credit is the economic underpinning of the finance.


2. Financing - receivables

The term may also refer to a large seller which organises a programme of receivables purchase financings in relation to its customers.
