Pricing - discounts.

An early bird rate - or price - is a discounted price for booking or buying services well in advance of the delivery date.

Sometimes abbreviated to early bird.

Its origin is the motto the early bird catches the worm, meaning that people who take the earliest opportunities to do - or commit to - things can secure an advantage for themselves.
