Electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) is used for business-to-consumer electronic billing, such as making utility and telephone bills available on-line. The advantages are generally for the issuer – such as the telecoms or utility company, although in some cases there may be financial incentives offered to customers for paying on-line.
