Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and the Council.
MiFID regulation applies to:
- Regulated markets (RMs)
- Multilateral trading facilities (MTFs) and
- Systematic internalisers (SIs).
The first MiFID Directive of 2004 has been superseded by MiFID II.
