The start of a number of credit ratings on a scale from NAIC1 to NAIC6, indicating the credit strength of private placement issuers.

These credit ratings are issued under the methodology of the Securities Valuation Office (SVO) of the NAIC.

Also written NAIC1 to NAIC6.


NAIC1 indicates the strongest credits, and NAIC6 the weakest.
