Neuroplasticity is a brain's ability to reorganise itself by forming new neural connections throughout life, including adult life.

Among other benefits, neuroplasticity enables:

  • Recovery from brain trauma;
  • Enhanced memory and other cognitive abilities; and
  • More effective learning.

Neuroplasticity underpins the concept of a growth mindset.
