Sanctions - counteracting the financing of terrorism - anti money laundering - Financial Action Task Force - virtual assets.

The travel rule is an anti money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism measure.

It requires virtual asset service providers to obtain, hold and exchange information about the originators and beneficiaries of virtual asset transfers.

This enables sanctions screening and the detection of suspicious transactions.
