The Wall Street Crash was the US stock market collapse of Thursday 24 October 1929 to Tuesday 29 October 1929.

'Wall Street Crash' sometimes refers to the single day 29 October 1929, and sometimes to longer periods.

It was followed by the Great Depression.

Thursday 24 October 1929 is sometimes known as 'Black Thursday', with Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 October 1929 being 'Black Monday' and 'Black Tuesday' respectively.

Friday 25 October 1929 was a temporary halt in the collapse.
