1. Individuals.

A person with management powers and responsibilities in an organisation, often at a senior level.

For example, a chief executive.


2. Adjective.

Relating to implementing actions, or having the power to do so.


3. Government.

A body having executive powers.

For example, the Northern Ireland Executive.
