UKAR is the UK government owned holding company that temporarily held the formerly independent Bradford & Bingley plc (B&B) and NRAM Limited.

These business have now been sold.


UKAR also formerly administered the UK government's Help to Buy Mortgage Guarantee Scheme through its corporate services subsidiary UKARcs.

This responsibility was transferred to the UK's National Savings and Investments (NSI or NS&I) in April 2019.
