The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 is so called because it aims to reduce household costs for ordinary Americans in the areas of health care, prescription drugs and energy.
It also provides substantial tax subsidies for investment in green infrastructure.
Among other effects, the Inflation Reduction Act has attracted substantial inward investment to the United States.
