Credit risk evaluation - banking
(EAD).
Exposure At Default is an amount expected to be outstanding following a default by a counterparty, taking account of:
- Any credit risk mitigation;
- Drawn balances; and
- Any undrawn amounts of commitments and contingent exposures.
