The World Intellectual Property Organization is established as a global forum for intellectual property (IP) services, policy, information and cooperation.
Its mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international IP system that enables innovation and creativity.
WIPO was established as a United Nations agency in 1967 and is headquartered in Switzerland.
