Cryptography is the theory and practice of encrypting information to ensure its confidentiality and security.

Public keys are derived from private keys and this enables verification of transactions because of this public-private key pairing.

The blockchain validators (nodes) can check that the signer is the controller of those CAs on the blockchain.
