EU 27

The 'EU 27' refers to the 27 current member states of the European Union (EU).
The term arose following the UK's decision to leave the EU.
During the period before the UK's departed from the EU on 31 January 2020, 'EU 27' referred to the 27 member states - excluding the UK - that remain members following the UK's departure.
It is sometimes written 'EU-27', or ‘EU27’.
