Abbreviation for US Dollar indeX.
It measures the value of the US dollar against a basket of the currencies of six of the US's most significant trading partners.
The currencies are: the euro (EUR), Swiss Franc (CHF), Japanese Yen (JPY), Canadian dollar (CAD), British pound (GBP) and Swedish Krona (SEK).
USDX is also sometimes known as DX or DXY.
