Science Based Targets

Sustainability - environmental policy - greenhouse gas emissions - Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The Science Based Targets initiative defines a Science-Based Target as:
- (1) A clearly-defined pathway for a company or other entity to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions;
- (2) In line with what the latest climate science deems necessary to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The Paris Agreement's goals are to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
