(CFPB).

The US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has the authority to ensure that retail consumers have access to clear and accurate information for credit card, mortgages and other financial products.

The CFPB is also tasked with protecting consumers from hidden fees, abusive terms and deceptive practices related to financial products.
