European Union (EU) - EU law.

In the EU context, the General Court is one of two parts of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).

The other part being the European Court of Justice (ECJ).


The General Court deals with actions brought by individuals, companies, and - sometimes - governments of EU member states.

Most of the General Court's work relates to competition law, State aid, trade, agriculture and trademarks.
