In 2005, the Inland Revenue merged with the former Customs & Excise department to establish Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs, which became His Majesty's Customs & Excise on the accession of the UK's King Charles III in 2022.

In 2005, the Inland Revenue merged with the former Customs & Excise department to establish Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs, which became His Majesty's Customs & Excise on the accession of the UK's King Charles III in 2022.
