Environmental policy - carbon footprint - construction - infrastructure.

In the context of buildings and other physical infrastructure, operational carbon is the carbon footprint emitted during the operational use of the project.

It includes all management and maintenance during this period.


Operational carbon is distinct from, and additional to, embodied carbon.
