Environmental concerns.

A zero emission vehicle is one that does not directly produce atmospheric pollutants when it is operated.

Any machine or process that does not directly produce pollutants across any Scope.

No offsets, nor balancing of residual emissions with removals are used under this definition.

Also known as absolute zero.
