Human resources - working practices - legislation - UK.
Under the UK Employment Relations (Flexible Working) Act 2023, most UK employees can request a change to:
- The number of hours they work
- When they start or finish work
- The days they work
- Where they work.
Employees can make a request for flexible working from their first day in a job.
Employers must deal with requests for flexible working in a reasonable manner.
