Sustainability - climate change - environmental risk management - V20.

(IGP).

The InsuResilience Global Partnership for Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance was officially launched at the UN Climate Conference COP23 in 2017 for the purpose of strengthening the resilience of the world’s most vulnerable people to climate and disaster risk.

The IGP aims to increase pre-arranged finance which can be quickly and reliably disbursed when disasters strike.

It also aims to expand financial protection instruments available to governments and communities to lower the impact of disasters.
